Experience a little of Puebla's History with Chiles en Nogada, a delicious plate made an honor of emperor Agustin de Iturbide. Where it represents the three colors of the Mexican flag using only local ingredients.

Recipe

Poblano pepper filled with picadillo, a mixture of ground or chopped beef, chicken, and pork accompanied by seasonal fruits, spices, and nuts. All deep fried in egg batter. Covered with a walnut cream sauce called nogada. It is then decorated with pomegranate seeds and parsley leaves to pay tribute to the Mexican flag.
